Bringing two decades of design experience to her role, Jen leads our studio’s vision and brand strategy with truth and critical thinking as her guiding principles.

Jen holds a BFA from the California College of the Arts (2003), and has developed instructional models and course curriculum as an adjunct professor at PNCA, served as the Executive Director at our non-profit organization Visible Studio, and has been a featured speaker at Design Week Portland, AIGA Women Lead, Bend Design, and Gray Magazine’s Design Minds, among others.

DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, STRATEGY

Liz is a brand and interactive designer, painter, and printmaker. Her interdisciplinary background, ranging from fine art to digital development, defines her approach to creative direction.

With degrees in Visual Arts and Communication Design from Columbia University and PNCA, Liz is a Co-Founder of the Natural Resonance Festival and has been featured speaker at First Round, Design Week Portland, AIGA Women Lead, Bend Design, Gray Magazine’s Design Minds, and serves on the Advisory Committee of OK You.

STRATEGY, MESSAGING, OPERATIONS

With a background in small press publishing, copywriting and editing, Kristin specializes in naming, brand personification, and voice development, balancing poetic imagination with precision.

Kristin holds Bachelors of Arts degrees in English and Communications from UC Davis, and earned her Masters in Writing and Publishing from Portland State University in 2012. As a talented illustrator and painter, Kristin is 1/2 of Forrest, a responsive art project inspired by nature, and a member of Secret Room Press.

Guided by her passion for design as a tool for change and community empowerment, Denise applies attention to detail and an intuitive understanding of mood and tone in her visual work. Not only is Denise a master typographer and illustrator with an exceptional command of color, she also brings a dedication to making design accessible for all to every project and interactive experience that she leads.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Portland State University, Denise is often a guest presenter at Comma PSU, where she provides mentorship and inspiration to the next generation of designers, and has served as lead designer and board member at Visible Studio.

Ciera’s work is guided by communication—the process of seeking and sharing understanding through design. Inspired and energized by experimentation, systems thinking, and meaningful design for meaningful missions, Ciera’s can-do approach to creating gives us all a sense of the greater opportunities waiting to be uncovered within interactive challenges. Prioritizing strategy, user experience, and accessibility, Ciera deftly translates visual identities into digital expressions that center audience needs and desires.

Ciera holds a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design with a focus in Interactive & Digital Design from Portland State University, and is an instructor for A&D projects at PSU.

A deeply creative thinker, Emily intuits connections and draws upon abstract themes to define meaningful visual identities for our clients. From conceptual brand exploration to print layout and interactive, she has a chameleon-like capacity for sinking into the underlying ethos of a brand to bring the best to the surface. Finding inspiration in the tiniest details of every day life, Emily's work is guided by curiosity and genuine understanding.

Emily holds a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, where she graduated Top 7 in her class in 2014. In addition to her role on our team as a graphic designer and illustrator, Emily is the creator of Land & She, the illustration and printmaking studio that doubles as her home in Jenkintown, PA.
